(21 June 07) Now ask yourself “Why did the New York mayor Bloomberg just declare himself an Independent? Not a Democrat or Republican any more. Presidential aspirations? Being a Democrat or Republican is now a detriment. 44% of registered voters, now registered as Independents. Are you planning to reregister for the same reason? Why, don't you believe the Democrats and Republicans are guiding our country the best way? Of course they are not, so what are you going to do about it? Remember Ross Perot? what threat did they do to him to shut him up? Probably all those government contracts he was getting. Well I don't get any government contracts, but I do get Social Security, that I paid in to for 50 years. I suppose they will threaten me to cut me off of Social Security. Lets See,

Ya know, when you see all the candidates for the prospective primaries, the Democrats don't look too bad and the choices for Republicans need a vast improvement.
I think we need to consider who is running in each category. We will be stuck with a Democrat, a Republican, or an Independent. Thing is, we should have the very best choice amongst them all. If the Mayor of New York and Hagel run in the Independent seats, that's not such a bad thing for our country, nor are the Democratic candidates, but unfortunately, we'll have hell to pay if we elect even one of the Republicans who have stepped up so far.
Though I don't like his political views overall, Jeffrey Sessions would have been a good Republican candidate whom I feel can lead our country, but he isn't running. Just remember, we are all stuck in this together, no matter whom we elect. The RP choices are downright scary.
